We target large industrial sectors that are ripe for consolidation, where
smaller niche players operate successfully under the
price and volume umbrellas set up by much larger players.
We like value added distribution, manufacturing or service businesses that have recurring demand and customer relationships, who win based on technical expertise, customer service, speed/responsiveness and product or service quality. Often our companies' solutions are
spec'd or engineered into OEM customers' product designs.
Initial platform companies are based in the United States or Canada and typically have between $750k and $10 million in EBITDA, although we can pursue smaller or larger opportunities where we have expertise. Add-on acquisitions for existing platforms can be smaller.
